Chinese is coming!

Chinese as the world super power is not a dream anymore. It's reality.

Know and honest to yourself

Image
I've learned a great lesson and want to share with you, my love readers. The lesson is about knowing and being honest to yourself. I learned it in a hard way. And you can skip my mistakes for granted if you will. Knowing yourself means knowing who you are, what is you mission in this world (or your mission impossible?), and what will people remember of you once you left this planet earth. And from there, being honest about it. Be yourself to the fullest, no matter what others say. It's your life, not theirs. Who cares if you failed, except your parents, families and yourself. No one really. Believe me, I've done it and gone through it in an unforgettable ways.

Self Decipline is the Key

I just read a book titled, "Don't Eat the Marshmallow, Yet" and really click with the idea presented in the book. In the end, success is more for the mind than the brain. 80% of success is accountable for the mind control, and only 20% for knowledge or degrees you have. Buddhism offers the ideal technique to deal with the mind, through Bhavana (both Samatha and Vipassana). Einstein is proved again to be right for this.

Sacca Parami Day

Today, I started to fulfill the Sacca Parami, Sacca Upa Parami and Sacca Paramattha Parami. Sacca is truthfulness. From today onwards, I will speak and act with truth. And may I have the strength to fulfill the parami with the support from the Lord Buddha Gotama.

Golden Swan

Image
Golden Swan or ၐိုပ္ထဝ္ (bob-hto) in Mon language, is the symbol of the Mon nation. Sometime, Mon people might also called the Golden Swan as Hongsar (a Pali term) and proudly identify themselves as the sons of Hongsar (ေကာန္ၐိုပ္ဟံသာ). I am also a son of Hongsar. And you?

English is a global language

If you to choose a language to be use among the world populations, what would it be? My choice is English. Let me explain why? There are roughly about 6 billion people in the world and to my knowledge, there are more than 3,000 living languages (language with at least 1 speaker). Among these languages, English stands out as the most used language for communication between 2 different ethnic groups. Why not Chinese? or Spanish? you might ask. Because English is much more easy to learn and use. I'll come back to this article for more explanation why it is easy.

A simple thought: a decision at last

I've been struggling with myself for so long, probably since I dropped out from Bradford in 2001. I simply didn't know what to do with my life, a failure? maybe. My dad died in 2001 and then my mom in 2003. I don't know when will be my turn. But there is one thing I discovered recently. My passion towards English language. That's the only thing I'm sure about. That's what feed my mouth and the families. English has such a profound benefits towards my life. So why don't I just share my passion with the world? I can and I will.

The Law of Single Handling

Article by Brian Tracy The ability to start and complete your most important task determines your productivity more than any other skill. Maximum performance is possible only when you concentrate single-mindedly on the task—the most important task, and you stay at it until it is 100 percent complete. Do the Most Important Task You cannot do everything, but you can do one thing, the most important thing, and you can do it now. By setting goals and priorities, and then by selecting your most important task, you can dramatically increase your level of productivity and output. Single Handling Single handling is perhaps the most powerful of all time management techniques . It can increase your output by as much as 500 percent. It can reduce the amount of time you spend on a task by fully 80 percent—by the very act of launching into the task and disciplining yourself to stay with it until it is complete. Refuse to Stop till Done Picking up a task, putting it down and coming back to it severa...
